Ragi contains all three parts of the kernel i.e. the bran, germ, and endosperm. Ragi can also be processed through milling, malting, flakes and fermentation. However, since the grains are quite small, polishing is not so easy. So, the chances of gaining the whole nutrition of the grain are higher with ragi.
